Why isn't the waiting list displaying on my product page?

Not seeing the waiting list on your product page? Follow this article to see the various options you have to get the waiting list displaying properly as quick as possible.

First, is the waiting list enabled?

First off, to make sure we aren't missing something obvious here; open up Wait.li, click on the waiting list on the left hand side, and ensure that the waiting list is currently enabled. If the waiting list is disabled here, the waiting list  will NOT display on your product page.

To fix this, simply click the "Enable" button at the bottom of the page to enable the waiting list. 

Refresh your product page after doing this to see if this fixed the issue.

Second, is Wait.li installed properly?

Wait.li tries to auto-install on your store when you first download the app. Depending on which theme you are using, or if you have any custom modifications done to the theme, this may not work as intended.

If Wait.li wasn't able to auto-install, it should have shown you two options:

  1. Manual Installation - we provide a simple coding tutorial to install Wait.li on your theme
  2. Auto Installation - this option prompts a Wait.li team member to request access to your store, and when granted, log in and install Wait.li on your active theme.

If you selected the manual installation, go back over the original Wait.li theme installation document here.

If you selected the auto-installation, a team member from Wait.li should have gotten in touch with you via email. Make sure you check your spam/junk folder to ensure you received our email about this. If someone from our team installed it; everything should be working fine, but if not simply get in touch with us at help@wait.li
